Bag Crush Diaries: Lunch and Crushing on MK's Sutton Saffiano bag

I seldom go out for lunch on a weekday.  I brown bag my lunch #frugalme because aside from saving moolah, I don't like the chilly wind despite the sun being so bright and sunny.

But since friday was relax at work yesterday and the sun was out shining (yes it's still chilly) I braved the chill and had japanese lunch with my colleague  near our work at Bien Izakaya.  Ordered some sushi, which just tasted normal (nothing fantastic) but the teriyaki tofu don (fried tofu with teriyaki sauce on rice) was yum.  Too yummy that I forgot to take a photo of it and realized only after my bowl was empty.

Lunch at Bien Izakaya Newmarket

But really the highlight of  my lunch out yesterday is meeting my latest bag crush.  There is this new store in Newmarket that I passby on my way to work from the train station.  I have been wanting to in and have a look; but it was only yesterday that I found the time.  And when I stepped in, I was greeted by my latest crushie.  It wasn't crush at first sight because there where a lot of other items on display that distracted me.  But I guess this little beauty stood out.  The picture below does not do any justice...

But maybe this would help you understand why

And since it comes with a sling, you can carry it as a sling bag or cross-body for a more causal laid-back look...

The tote comes in small/medium and large.  I am liking the medium one.  And my matrona status would probably carrry the bag like this ;)
You can check out more of the store's display at Newmarket (The Brand Warehouse).

What have you been crushing lately?

Bag Crush Dairies : Yves Saint Laurent Cabas Chyc

 #baghag

Urban Dictionary defines a bag hag as a female who owns too many hand bags/purses/totes etc.  Not that I am a bag hag, but ladies out there you sure do agree with me when I say "A girl can't have too many bags".

Now having said that I am currently eyeing on this beauty.  But I got one big problem, I don't know how to properly pronounce the name of the bag. Hindi ako soshal!!! LOL!!!

But no, I am not  to be swayed, what's Google for.

Now ladies repeat after me. Eve - Saint - Lor - rong

Yves Saint Laurent Cabas Chyc is definitely a beauty.  With its classic, elegant design with a modern twist, it just spells out chic and can be worn on many different occasions by women of different age brackets.

If i were to invest in a handbag, it would definitely be this beauty.
it simply exudes class...

chic and trendy too...

and it comes in different colors
Now excuse me as I go get and feed a piggy for this.

That Red Bag...

For the loooongest time I have wanted to own this
Longchamp Le Pliage Large Tote

But when I causally told my siblings about my “IT” pang everday wear shopper’s bag, my brother just blurted out “bat ang mahal? Ang dami namang nabibili nyan sa palengke…” Huwattttt?!?!?!

Oh please all longchamp lovers out there don’t begin to hate my bro, it was said in a typical male tone na walang ka fashion fashion sense sa katawan.  But anyways affected pa din ako. Hmmp!  So after X number of months, yes months, I still don’t have That Red Bag.  But everytime I happen to pass by Takashimaya or walk the temptation laden Orchard Road and chance upon that bag,  I still catch a glimpse of it and say at the back of my mind “Oo na, dami nyang nagkalat sa palengke, but if I carry one I would still get the satisfaction of knowing that I carry the real thing”. Oh well…I guess for now I will do more red bag shopping…

pwede na noh?!? wehehehe dreaming

MANGO .... not bad either ;) loving it nga...

Ladies, what do you think would be a good roomy, sturdy but still fashionable every day red bag?  Yung friendly sa budget ha...
